Friends of Jentel
Thanks to the interest, generosity and support of the Friends of Jentel, many individuals have looked to secure the Jentel Artist Residency Program for the future.

By becoming a Friend of Jentel, you will be making an investment in the visual and literary arts, advancing artists and writers who are visionaries of the future, and supporting a program committed to fostering creative work. Gifts of any amount are welcome, including gifts of stock and in-kind gifts that enhance our facilities and services.  We are grateful to the many supporters who have given of their time, expertise and resources.

If you are interested in becoming part of this vital program's work or have questions, please contact Mary Jane Edwards at mjclay@jentelarts.org or call 307-737-2311 during regular business hours.

In September 2011 Neltje provided an estate gift to the University of Wyoming. Under the stewardship of the University, Neltje's wish that Jentel remain a gift of time and space to visual artists and writers will be honored and will remain in perpetuity in spirit and operation as a gem of a residency along Piney Creek. In addition her home, studio, Turned Antiques and adjoining land will become the Neltje Living Museum for Contemporary Visual and Literary Arts.

The UW Foundation has set up a fund to receive gifts for an endowment to sustain the Jentel Artist Residency Program. Tracy Richardson, the Director of Planned Giving at the UW Foundation may be reached at 888-831-7795 or through his direct line 307-766-3934.  He will provide details and opportunities about giving to the endowment since at the present time the Jentel Foundation is not set up to directly receive gifts.   Tracy is a kind and easy going man and a delight with whom to share ideas, plans and conversation.  I have worked closely with him on a project last year and stay in contact with him on a regular basis.

This year as you plan various ways to share your generosity, please seriously consider contributing the Jentel endowment. I invite you to join me in bringing visual artists and writers to our community and in supporting the future of art and culture by supporting the creative work of visual artists and writers today.

Jentel is classified as a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit tax exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service and all contributions are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
