Inky Paper Press
University of Wyoming Art Department Partners Up with Jentel Foundation
Through a partnership, the University of Wyoming’s Department of Art and Jentel award a residency to visiting artists participating in the Inky Paper Press Program. Initiated in 1995, IPP provides students and members of the community the opportunity for interaction and exchange with a nationally renowned printmaker. Annually an artist is invited to campus to present a series of lectures, workshops and an exhibition of prints created throughout the week. For several days and sometimes long evenings in the printmaking studio, the artist works closely with students acting as assistants and apprentices to create an edition or series of prints.
Experience a place where partnerships with other programs acknowledge excellence in writing and the visual arts through residency awards.
